Being a Christian doesn't mean hiding your self-worth and talents under the guise of humility. I believe God gives us multiple unique talents and gifts and intends for us to use them for our enhancement and the greater good of others.
I'm always surprised when people play small, hide their gifts, and shrink from enlightenment and growth. They often do this because they are afraid of failure or don't believe in their self-worth.
As a child of God, your worth is His utmost highest gift. Therefore, you should rejoice in your talents, enjoy the richness and fulfillment they add to your life, and never hide them from others. Living like this produces a mentally, emotionally, and spiritually rich existence and a purpose-filled life.
